AFRICAN CULTURE NOT RELEGATING- ALASE OOSHA.
HSM Oba(Dr) Gbenga Tayese Familugba popularly known as the Alase Oosha at Ajara-Toppa vicinity in Badagry Kingdom,Lagos State has confirmed that he's sensing the rapid and elevating strength of arts and culture in Yoruba domains and other parts of Nigeria. Speaking about this as a 'moving train' recently in his gigantic palace in Badagry recently, the Oye-Ekiti indigene revealed to newsmen that he's one of the leading and living legends with the cross of culture on his shoulders,he said; "Culture has been the cause of my growth and heights in life till dates. When l didn't understand its importance,l took it as nothing in the days of my father. But today, the prophecy has come true. The deities who represent Olodumare on earth are those l represent throughout the entire world." "African culture especially that of the Yorubas is not relegating or diminishing because people are growing daily to see and understand its importance. The darkness is disappearing with the light it sheds. I want to use this medium to thank and appreciate all true traditional rulers, chiefs and traditionalists across the globe who are truly the sons and daughters of culture. We need to do more by showing and promoting the heritage of our forefathers." Culture runs in our nerves and veins,Alase Oosha revealed, adding; "We are doing everything within our powers to maintain the stability of the 'doings of the ancestors '. Our forefathers were truth lovers, they helped one another in love and defended the time which led to the future. I want all living tradition lovers to live by these legacies without a look back."
